Cude Cube is a piece in Yasmine’s collection of lamps. The structure is a compilation of discarded slides of Yasmine’s mother’s paintings glued together to create a white cube take on the lantern. The work is considered to be a collaboration with their mother in an exploration of what it means to create and display work in the art world. Viewers are invited to sit around the piece like an indoor fireplace to enjoy the detail of the slides and candescent illumination.
